Graduation ceremony

Keilir Aviation Academy graduated 18 ATPL students on 31 August at Andrews Theater in Reykjanesbær, Iceland. After the ceremony 89 pilot students have graduated from Keilir in 2019 and a total of 307 from the first graduation ceremony a decade ago.

Keilir graduates 43 professional pilot students

Keilir Aviation Academy graduated 43 students from ATPL and Integrated Professional Pilot Programs on 14 June at Andrews Theater in Reykjanesbær, Iceland. After the ceremony 71 pilot students have graduated from Keilir in 2019 and a total of 289 from the first graduation ceremony a decade ago.

Keilir Aviation Academy acquires one of Iceland’s largest flight schools

Keilir Aviation Academy has acquired the Icelandic Flight Academy, one of the oldest operating flight schools in Iceland. After the purchase the school will operate over two dozen training aircraft and sophisticated flight simulators in Iceland’s major airports, with a collective student body totalling close to five hundred pilot students.

Assessment and Screening Process for applicants

Keilir Aviation Academy has implemented Assessment and Screening Process for all applicants in both ATPL and Integrated Professional Pilot Programs. Next assessment for courses starting in January 2019 will be held Friday 12 October 2018. Applicants for the IPPP course in January will receive all relevant information by email.

Keilir Aviation Academy adds more training aircraft

Keilir Aviation Academy has purchased four new Diamond DA40 training aircraft bringing the total number of aircraft at the flight school to a total of fourteen. The first two aircraft arrived at Keflavik International Aiport in late March and have received the call signs TF-KFK and TF-KFJ. The remaining two aircraft will arrive in May 2018.
